Girls 17's Tryouts

Athletes must attend both days of tryouts.
Come play volleyball with Panhandle Elite Volleyball Club! Attending volleyball camps and clinics is great, but the real fun starts when you play on an actual club team - wearing the uniform, attending tournaments, making life-long friends, and learning and playing the team game of volleyball. Over a club season, athletes get so much instruction and experience that playing on a club team is an incredible value, not to mention so much fun!
To register your athlete for tryouts, begin by creating a parent profile on our new website, then add your dependent athlete(s) to your account. Once you have done so, registering is quick and easy - just click the "Register" link at the top of any page, then choose the "Tryouts" option and find your correct age group. Note: When you sign into your parent profile, the circled number displayed with your athlete's name is the correct age eligibility for the upcoming season.
17-ELIGIBLE TRYOUTS FOR 2025-2026:
Eligible for 17 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008.
We ask that when you come to the gym, you have a plan in mind, having done your research, and know in advance if Panhandle Elite is the club for you. Our goal is to leave the gym after tryouts with all our team athletes committed to excellence and the desire to train, grow, and compete with PEVC.
REGION SIGN UP
USA Volleyball requires that each athlete register within their region - our region's governing body is the Gulf Coast Region Volleyball Association. Prior to tryouts, you must register using this link USAV Membership and pay a USAV/Gulf Coast Region junior membership fee. You can pay either a $25 temporary tryout registration fee, or go ahead and pay $95 for a full year membership. If you pay only the $25 temporary fee, once you’re selected to play for a club, you must upgrade to the full junior membership fee by paying the full $95, with no credit for the temporary membership.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring your completed USAV Medical Form and Gulf Coast Region Membership Form with you to tryouts. (Download USAV Medical Form). PEVC will have a notary present at check-in for tryouts for your convenience.
Athletes should wear comfortable athletic attire including athletic shoes. Volleyball-specific attire is not required, and athletes will be given a shirt to wear during tryouts. Kneepads are optional, but most athletes prefer to wear them. Each athlete should also have plenty of water in a sealable water jug or bottle, labeled with their name.

Tryout Date/Time: Saturday and Sunday, November 1-2; 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Check-in begins: 5:30 PM (please arrive early)

Tryout Fee: $50, which includes a Panhandle Elite shirt for each athlete that will be given out at tryouts.
