Grassroots Training
Grassroots training is for athletes 12 and under who are young or new to the game of volleyball. The focus of this training is to teach the fundamental skills in a fun environment. No tryout needed, players will be placed with other athletes of the same age and skill. Open to both girls and boys!
Practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 - 5:00pm beginning December 5th. Session 1 ends on February 18, 2024 and Session 2 runs February 20 - April 26, 2024.
Session 1: No practice during holiday break, Dec 18-31, 2023.
Session 2: No practice during Spring break, March 25-29, 2024.
Player Fee:
$300 for Session 1 (December 5th, 2023 - February 18th, 2024)
$300 for Session 2 (February 20 - April 26, 2024)
Register separately for Session 1 or Session 2, or both!
USAV Memberships:
All USAV members must have a USAV membership to participate in practices and tournaments.
Membership Categories and costs are as follows:
8 and Under FREE
9-10U (Youth Membership) $20
11-12U (Developmental Membership) $55
Membership costs are separate from player fees.
Age divisions are based on the age the player will be July 1, 2024.

What’s Included in Grassroots Program:
• Two (1.5 hour) Practices per week
• Session 1: Two Sunday tournaments in Elberta and/or Foley
• Session 2: Friday tournament on March 1 in Elberta or Foley and April tournament on Friday April 26th in Mobile
• PEVC T-shirt
• Valuable teamwork experiences in a fun environment
